Here I am sorting something on my bed. |
Here we are, Amy, Diane and myself. |
Life After Katimavik:
In 1997 I rode my bicycle alone from Winnipeg to Halifax (3500 km) - through northern Ontario and Quebec, not the Sudbury route. Nathalie let me crash at her place in Montreal for a week - I certainly needed the rest! She was a life saver.
A big near miss happened in August 1999 when Enron flew me down to Houston for an interview. I'm so glad I didn't get that job!
In July 2000 me, my wife Diane and daughter Amy (now 13!) packed up a U-Haul and drove from Winnipeg to Los Angeles to seek new fun & excitement. We started from scratch - no job lined up, and a 2 month sublet apartment. Now I'm working 68 hours a week at 2 jobs, and Diane is homeschooling Amy, who's turning into a pretty good little webmaster.
